Important and sad new in the tech community this afternoon. We have lost a great and huge consumer computer maker. HP announced that they will be selling their consumer PC business. Google has switched to a secure way to search things online. They've made a SSL search that's still in beta and could let you search without your ISP watching you. It is still in its beta phase and does not include other Google services such as maps and images. You can use the SSL search feature by going to https://encrypted.google.com. Well another year another new gadget and another one of Steve Jobs (planed at least this time) Developer presentations!! This year Is being handled by apple a little different. This year apple threw us a curve ball of sorts. Now normally one would think of apple as being this secret cult of users and workers conniving to get as much money out of people as possible.
